Terms of Sale:
SES reserves the right to withhold shipments to accounts with balances over 30 days.
SES has no minimum order.
SES reserves the right to change specifications and pricing without notice.
SES accepts payment in the form of cash, Visa, Master Card, Amex, check, bank transfer, and COD.
Returns & Refunds:
SES Casters offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all products we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will refund the entire purchase price. All returns and refunds must be preceded with a phone call to a salesman at SES Casters within the warranty period. The warranty period for defective merchandise is 30 days from the invoice date. The warranty period on non-defective merchandise is 10 days from the invoice date. SES Casters will pay all freight charges for returning or replacing defective merchandise. The customer will be responsible for all freight charges pertaining to the return of non-defective merchandise. This limited warranty does not apply to damage to our products which occurred as the result of abuse, improper installation, mishandling, improper maintenance, overloading, or exposure to corrosive chemicals or conditions. Non defective merchandise must be returned in the same conditioned it was shipped; we will not honor the return of such items if they appear to be used or abused in any way. For returns we will issue a refund of the appropriate sort when we receive the returned items.
SES Caster orders are processed and shipped only during our regular business hours: 9:00 to 5:00 EST, Monday to Friday, excluding Holidays. Orders that are received before noon should be processed the same day; orders received after noon will be processed on the following day. The vast majority of our orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours of the business day in which they are received. Most of our orders are shipped, but many customers pick up their orders from our facilities in Pembroke. If this is convenient for you, please call us and make arrangements.
Delivery dates on all UPS shipments are based on the date the order is processed and shipped, not on the date the order is placed. This is especially important with regard to UPS 3-Day, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air orders. For instance, if an order is placed late Friday afternoon, the order should be processed and shipped on Monday; if it is shipped UPS Next Day Air on Monday, UPS guarantees delivery on Tuesday by 10:00 AM. We do not accept responsibility for delays caused by UPS, either by mistake or as a result of policy issues.
SES will determine the least expensive means of shipping, and add the amount to the bill, unless otherwise specified at the time of the sale. For packages under 300 lbs we ship by United Parcel Service (UPS). Orders that weigh over 300 lbs will be shipped by a commonfreight or trucking company of our selection, unless otherwise specified. Combined shipments with UPS are an issue of some concern to some customers. What this amounts to is this: if you buy two items and ship each separately, the UPS charges would be nearly double that of the same items packaged as a single heavier shipment. It is our policy with all orders to combine multiple items into the minimum number of containers necessary. The maximum weight shipped in a box by UPS is 70 lbs. If the order is lighter than this, and the items will fit in one regulation box, the items will be shipped in one large box; if the items are heavier than this, they will be shipped in one or more boxes, but all the boxes will be shipped in one single shipment.
In the past we have also shipped parcels by USPS and Fed Ex. It is true that some parcel delivery companies have less expensive delivery rates in certain circumstances than UPS. Customers frequently ask, for instance, if we would ship by USPS Flat Rate. The issue for us is that it is much more expensive at the moment for us to process and ship orders with other companies.
Shipping costs are based on real time UPS rates and the actual weights of the items shipped. The shipping charges are calculated at the point of the sale on the basis of (1) the actual weight of the items purchased and the packaging materials, (2) the shipping distance from Pembroke MA 02359 to the ship to address, and (3) the real time shipping rates published on the UPS web site. We do not add additional shipping and/or handling charges over and above this.
We have and will continue to ship anywhere in the world that UPS makes deliveries. UPS will only deliver to physical street addresses, not to PO Boxes or APO’s. They also mandate that orders shipped to Canada or other locations outside of the USA must be accompanied by a telephone number. SES is not responsible for any duties or taxes levied by customs or the like, nor are we responsible for delivery delays that result from customs or the like. For customers that have shipping contracts with UPS, we will ship collect on the customers account, but only if we have permission in writing.
SES actively stocks all of the items in the website. We can not guarantee that we will have sufficient quantity to fulfill all orders at the time they are placed. It is possible, at any given time, depending upon demand, that we may be low on or temporarily out of an item. If so, we will work to obtain sufficient items to fulfill the order in a timely manner. We will contact you by phone or email should there be any problems with the delivery of items. To be sure about particular items, please call to check on inventory quantities. We will be happy to obtain and stock items that we do not currently stock, or maintain higher inventory levels than we currently hold, should there be sufficient demand for such items.
